El Cid Vacations Club Reviews
El Cid Vacations Club guest satisfaction is always extremely high. With resorts in Cozumel and other locations, it’s the perfect vacation getaway.
We visited in Dec 2016, and the weather was challenging, torrential rain one day, cool two days, and sweet and hot two days, but we still had a very good time. We had to go back at a different time of the year where we can explore every day without weather challenges. So we went Sept 2016. Both times, we loved it! The people are awesome, and friendly beyond belief. We met people that stay there for months….we even met a couple that decided to move to Mazatlan. Of all the El Cid resorts, El Cid Marina, by far is the best! It’s at the far end of the strip, in a quiet area, all day shuttle service to the other resorts. And bus service to town….for 10pesos. Stone island tour, and Deer Island tour…a great get away. I can go on forever….The drinks! The best! Private beach…the best! Peace and Tranquility, if you want. Or go to another resort or into town for action!Andrea R
I can’t say enough about this facility. The facility and staff were top notch in every way. We are particularly pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the service they provided, to make our stay a memorable experience. We’ll be back!Peter M
In all respects, a very well maintained and excellent place. Friendly staff, super clean, and near perfect in every way. Rooms comfortable, great beds and linen. Pools perfect and clean and staff working to keep it so all day! the only minor change I’d make, is to hang some wall art in the rooms….kind of bland inside the rooms….a very small thing, but since everything else is gorgeous and pretty, livening up the rooms would be an added touch! Would recommend this resort to any and all!!!DonWBend
Adrian at the Calypso pool bar and restaurant was our favorite waiter. After the first day, he knew our likes and dislikes and took such great care of us. JOSHUA, the bartender, took good care of us when we were in the pool. Rodolfo took good care of us on Adrian’s day off. Maria Angelina at the concierge desk always greeted us with her beautiful smile when making dinner reservations.Kathy O
Every winter I travel the Carribean and Mexico with The El Cid in Mazatlan being the cherry on the ice cream. The location is perfect, right on the beach with shops, restaurants, and bars barely a walk away. The pools and rooms are beautiful. Mazatlan is the friendliest of cities in Mexico. You don’t feel like a tourist here. You’re made to feel like a resident. I’ve been to many, many all inclusive but none with a staff like those at the El Cid Castillo. Half the employees are now my friends on Facebook, and we help each other with our Spanish and English. If you visit the Resort, make sure to meet the waiter at the beachside buffet, Ivan Martinez. We spent his day off together touring Mazatlan and just having fun. His Mom who speaks no English even cooked me lunch. Beautiful people live in Mazatlan. I plan to make it my home someday!John S
This is written to anyone who wants to come to Mazatlan. COME TO EL CID CASTILLA. The hotel is amazing. I’ll break it down for you….
Absolutely amazing…the rooms were spacious and clean, great views to the pool and everything I would want from a hotel room, I honestly felt like it was a Vegas quality room. I had a high-quality tv, coffee machine, alarm clock, safe, and great bathroom amenities. The room was great.
Goodness me, I had so much to choose from. I worked for Gordon Ramsay for several years and I can safely say that this hotel has amazing food. The breakfast, lunch, dinner buffet was amazing. So much to choose from and the menu changed daily. You also have four al a carte restaurants to choose from. Mexican, Portuguese, Italian and steak. My absolute favorited was the Italian. By far one of the best dining experience I’ve ever had. I’ll talk about the service in a minute.
So clean. So big. So fun….the events manager especially was amazing,.,,,his name was Nacho and he was a great guy,p. Be sure to meet him. Tell him your name once and he will remember it for the rest of your stay. Great guy!!!!every day there was something going on around the pool. Aerobics, crazy golf, volleyball competitions the lot….
SAVE THE BEST TILL LAST….
By far the best service I have ever had in any hotel in the world. And I’ve been to many many hotels.
These people treat you like gold.
The service from the reception staff to the maids, to the bar staff to the pool staff to the security to EVERYTHING. They made my holiday great. I want to reiterate that the staff did an amazing job at making me feel so welcome, great job guys, As a closing note I would like to that the staff and management of El Cid Castilla. You have done an amazing job at maintaining a great hotel. I will see you next year for sure, thank you, Gordon GriffinGordon G
We had the pleasure of staying at the Granada from the 24 of Jan 2015 to Feb, 14, and would do it again with pleasure.
Rooms were comfy and clean, and as my husband has a problem walking a great distance, Daniel was helpful and did get us a room close to the pool and the patio restaurant, which we were very thankful for. And the staff at the patio Giovanni, Ana, Angel Ivanxy and Tiburcio,Julian were great and you
are so lucky to have them as your employees. And not forgetting Ceaser I will think of him always for introducing me to Mango Margaritas they were wonderful and so was he.And last but not least we enjoyed the activities with Aldo at the pool, it was fun for all.
